Ode to the Mac...

Yesterday at about 3:30pm I bought my new MacBook...I talked with Devon the Mac specialist. He talked about how great Macs are and what they can do. It was all very interesting but then again I had done my homework and decided that this is what I want. I got a printer too...FOR FREE!!! Well you have to do the rebate but he helped me do that in the store and the check is on it's way. :)

I came home and set everything up...easy as pie...or watching a movie because making pie is kind of hard. I transferred all of my music, photos, and word docs with some help from Ashleigh. Then we took some goofy pics on here...as you can see below. I'm loving it so far and I'm so excited that I have a great working computer. I won't even go into how bad my other one was getting...it started out great and I'm grateful I got it but it wasn't made to last. I believe I could have this computer for many years to come. Okay I promised it and now here it is:

Well we just cleaned out the attic today, it was part of our mothers day gift...we gave my mom four coupons of big jobs to get done. This was our first one, we started at 8:30am and just got done around 3:30. It's been a eventful day but I feel like I got something accomplished. I'm pooped...and I'm going to get cleaned up and get ready to go no where!!! :)

Blogging

Not long ago I decided that to start a blog would be pointless...and maybe it might be but after finding out that so many of my friends have one...and the fact that I enjoy reading theres...maybe I ought to start this again. I kind of regret deleting my old one from high school but what's done is done. :)
So here I am blogging. Now what to talk about? It's kind of hard right now seeing as I'm not usuing my computer and I kind of wanted to wait to start this until I got my new computer. Yes, my friends I'm getting a Mac! It should be soon now so stay tuned...I'm excited to organize everything on it and make it my own. I don't know why I get excited about organizing things but I do...I just love making things my own. That's probably why I like having things like a Facebook, Journal, and now a Blog. I can make that space my own....that's why at school I decorate my room (well my side anyways) the way I see fit. I'm not the best at decorating but it's my own and that's all that matters. So there's my excuse for making this thing, I want just another thing to make my own. I'll write more later...I'll probably be a freak about this thing once my new comp. is in my hands. I can't wait. I'll probably dedicate a whole entry to my new lappy, there might be a little poem about it too....stay tuned.
